Bubble tea (also called boba) is a Taiwanese drink built on tea—often with milk, fruit, or brown sugar—served over ice or warm, with chewy tapioca pearls or other toppings. At Gong Cha Don Mills, you choose your base drink, sweetness, ice level, and toppings so every cup is made your way.

Popular toppings include classic tapioca pearls (boba), grass jelly, aloe, pudding, and our signature milk foam cap. Jellies (often called QQ jelly or kanten) add a light, bouncy texture. On our menu, 2J means two jelly toppings included in that drink, and 3J means three—so you get extra jelly variety without ordering each one separately.

Yes. When you order in store or on Uber Eats, you can usually choose sweetness (from no sugar to regular) and ice amount (regular, less ice, or no ice). If you are unsure, start at 50% sugar and regular ice—our team can suggest a balance for milk teas versus fruit teas.

Many taro, chocolate, wintermelon, and fruit-forward drinks are caffeine-free or very low in caffeine. On our menu page, use the Caffeine-free filter to see tagged options, or ask at the counter—we are happy to point you to herbal bases and milk teas without tea caffeine.

Several drinks can be made without dairy when plant-based milk is available—ask in store for today's options. Tapioca pearls are typically vegan, but recipes can vary by location; tell us about allergies or dietary needs and we will guide you to a suitable cup.

The fastest way is through our Uber Eats storefront for Gong Cha—pick delivery or pickup, customize sweetness and ice, and check out there. You can also visit us at 70 Forest Manor Rd (Unit 5A) by Don Mills Station for dine-in or takeout when we are open.
